Where Curiosity and Possibility Meet
When you need a guide, a conversation partner, or someone to accompany you along the way

Meet Pepa Paniagua
She/Her/Hers
Hi y’all!
My name is Pepa and I am a pastor, coach, facilitator, educator, innovator, advocate and ally. I grew up on the West Coast, between the Redwoods and the Pacific, and I believe that you can learn just as much by placing your bare feet in soil or sand and listening, as you can from any book. I have always been drawn to the shore- the place where water and earth meet. A liminal space where there is a clear line between the known and unknown and where we are invited to dance in the in-between.
That is the approach I take to the coaching and consulting work I do. I aim to offer a threshold where curiosity and possibility can meet by being a listening presence that can help unlock new perspectives, or confirm your own inner knowing. In the in-between times of life, and in the spaces where things are visible but not clear, I hope to be a conversation partner, encourager, and to help you find clarity for the journey ahead.
I have been in ministry in a variety of forms for over 20 years including over a decade as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA). I am passionate about helping people discover and encounter the vast and expansive love of God, and I am grateful that I have been invited into vulnerable, sacred moments with so many. LBGTQIA+ advocacy and allyship is a cornerstone of my work and helping others navigate their own journey toward inclusion and celebration of the LBGTQIA+ community is one of the things I most love to do.
When I am not working, I love to spend time with friends, preferably over a good cup of coffee or a good meal, and I love to adventure with my wife, Kelli- and our two greyhounds Juneaux and Loden.

Why Shoreline?
I grew up on the coast, so the seashore is sacred to me. It has been a place where I have raged, laughed, wondered, healed and celebrated- and it is a place where I most clearly experience wonder and awe. It is a space that holds the tension between the now and the not yet, and it is a striking reminder of the vastness of the world.
When I was in my late 30’s, through the wonders of 23 and Me, I was connected with my biological father and the entire paternal side of my lineage. It has been a life-giving experience to know this side of my family, and I was surprised to learn that I am quite literally from the Shore-line (my biological families name is Shore).
It turns out that my love of the shoreline wasn’t accidental!
So, for all it’s meaning both spiritually and personally, I hope that Shoreline is a place where you might feel empowered to engage in the holy, hard, work of exploring the questions and mysteries of life.
